Bartolomeo Micallef

 

Dr. Bartolomeo Micallef has practised as a Notary Public in Malta for the past 20 years.

Formerly a Physics ,Chemistry and Computer Studies Bachelor of Science graduate and lecturer, Bartolomeo  obtained the Bachelor of Laws and the Doctorate of Laws, as well as a Masters Degree in International law, and thereafter, he began practising as a Notary Public in 1995 and set up the legal practice soon after.

He is the managing partner at Micallef & Associates.

Annalise Micallef

 

After having pursued the Doctorate of Laws, and specialised with a Masters in Financial Services at the University of Malta, Annalise  now practices as a Notary Public and legal consultant at Micallef & Associates.

She is Vice-President of the Maltese Notarial Council and thus actively involved in regulatory matters involving the notarial profession. In this position she has been actively involved in the drafting of legislation  concerning the notarial profession particularly in areas concerning estate planning.

She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practioners (STEP) Malta Executive Committee, as well as a member of the STEP EU Committee which deals with issues concerning, in particular, civil law countries.

She has participated in representation of the Maltese notariat in several Council of the Notariats of the European Union (CNUE) meetings on an international level.

She is also a member of the Financial Intelligence Analysis Unit (FIAU) Joint Committee representing the notariat on this committee.

Annalise is a Governor of Finance Malta, the promotional body of financial services in Malta.

She has authored several articles dealing with notarial matters, estate planning, trust and foundation set-up and she is a visiting lecturer at the University of Malta.

Annalise is an Accredited Agent by Identity Malta in terms of the Individual Investor Programme (IIP).
